1. It is effective to remove oil sludge and free water by cold mechanical filtration treatment; The thermal vacuum treatment can remove the dissolved water and suspended water effectively.

2, the oil temperature should be controlled under 70 ℃, to prevent oxidation of oil or cause T501 in transformer oil and the loss of some of the light component in oil.

3. When dealing with transformer oil containing large amount of water or solid materials, centrifugal separation or mechanical filtration should be used before the vacuum treatment process, which can improve the purification efficiency of transformer oil.

4. When deep dehydration and degassing of ultra-high voltage transformer oil is conducted, the secondary vacuum oil filter is adopted, and the vacuum degree should be kept below 133Pa.

5. In the process of vacuum filtration, the gas, water content or breakdown voltage of the oil inlet and outlet of the filter should be measured regularly to monitor the purification efficiency of the filter.
