1. Introduction & Application

Transformer DC resistance is a must-test item for semi-finished products in finished transformer manufacturing, finished product testing, installation, overhaul, change of tap-changer, handover test and preventive test in the power sector.

It is able to check the welding quality of the winding joint and the presence or absence of the turn-to-turn short circuit of the winding, and it is possible to detect whether the contact of each position of the voltage tap changer is good and whether the actual position of the tap changer and the indicated position are consistent, whether the lead wire is broken, and the multi-strand wire is wound. Whether there are broken shares and so on.

2. Security Measures

1). Be sure to read this manual carefully before using this instrument.

4). The instrument should avoid severe vibration.

5). Maintenance, care and adjustment of the instrument should be carried out by professionals.

6). After the test is completed, be sure to wait for the discharge alarm sound to stop before turning off the power and remove the test line.

7). To measure the no-load voltage regulating transformer, be sure to switch the gear position after the discharge indicating alarm sound stops.

8). During the test, it is forbidden to move the test clip and power supply line.

4. Precautions

1). It is necessary to wait for the discharge to end. After the alarm sound stops, the line is removed again, otherwise it is dangerous.

2). When measuring the unloaded voltage regulating transformer, the discharge must be reset before the reverse tapping, and the switch point can be switched after the alarm sound stops.

3). When selecting current, refer to the range in the technical index column. When the current is over-range, the instrument is always in the "charging" state because the current does not reach the preset value. At this time, press the reset button to reset the instrument and re-select the smaller one. Current gear. When the range is under-balanced, "Current current is too small" is displayed. When these two states occur, the range is confirmed and a larger current is selected for testing.

4). After the test is completed, press the "Reset" button, the instrument power will be disconnected from the winding, discharge at the same time, the audible alarm, the ammeter will return to the zero position, then the display will return to the initial state, and the discharge can be rewired after the end of the discharge. Take the next measurement or remove the test line and the power cord to end the measurement.
