1. Introduction

The FUOOTECH Independent transformer oil regeneration product line brings your transformer's insulating fluids back to life and restores them to their optimum condition.

FUOOTECH's TOR Transformer Oil Regeneration System utilizes physiochemical means to recover deteriorated transformer oil and breaker oil while removing the acid content, suspended matter and precipitated residues from the oil. It utilizes a special purification, which allows transformer to stay running in normal manner without switch off of power and change of oil.

The basic content and anti-oxygenic property of oil remains the same after treatment, and is brought back to the specification of new oil. Insulator property and safety of equipment are enhanced while cost is reduced by 90%, compared with conventional way of oil-change.

It is recommended to use the transformer oil filtration machine firstly, when the oil withstand-voltage is treated at an acceptable range by the transformer oil filtration machine, and then use this TOR Transformer Oil Regeneration Device to recover the electrical properties of the aging insulating oil, you will find that the effect will be better.

2. Through TOR Oil reconditioning system, the following results are achieved:

• The moisture content in the oil is reduced to below 10 ppm.

• The acidity value is reduced to less than 0.03 mg KOH/g oil.

• The dielectric strength (BDV) is improved to better than 60 – 70 kv

• The IFT (Interfacial tension) is improved to up to 40 Dynes.

• The Tan Delta (tgδ 90℃) of the oil is improved to equal or less than 0.005.

• Sludges dissolved or in suspension in the oil as well as sludge deposits are removed.

• Particulate removal to 1 micron is achieved

• The oxidation stability of the oil restored to equal that of new oil.

• The color of the oil is improved.

• The dielectric strength of the solid insulation is improved.

• Degradation of the solid insulation has been halted.
