1. Introduction and Application
FUOOTECH's PCS Series Portable Coalescing Separation Fuel Oil Purifier with go-cart design is mainly used to quickly separate and remove large quantity of water from the oil without heating, as well as remove the particles from the oil.
This Coalescence Separation oil purifier is suitable for purifying fuel oil, diesel oil, gasoline oil, hydraulic oil, lube oil, turbine oil, etc.
This diesel oil filtration systems uses advanced "coalescence separation" technology for dehydration, with high dehydration efficiency and strong capacity. It is especially suitable for separating large amounts of water in oil. It has the incomparable advantages of vacuum method and centrifugal method.
2. Working Principle
Different liquid has different surface tension, when the fluid runs through the pores, the smaller of the surface tension, the faster of the speed. When different liquid runs into the separator, it comes into the coalescence filter element which has many layers with different pore size. Because of the difference in the surface tension, the oil liquid runs through the filter layer quickly, but the water runs slowly.
Also, the filter elements adopts the hydrophilic material, the micro water drops adsorption in the layer to form the coalescence of the water drops. For the kinetic energy, the liquid drops runs through the pores, forming the larger ones and dropping down to separated with the oil liquid. The oil liquid after the coalescence filter element has small size water drops to get to the separation elements. The separation filter element is made of the special hydrophobic materials, when the oil liquid runs through the separation filter elements, the water drops are rebelled by the element, and the oil runs through and escape from the extractor.
