1. Introduction and Application
FUOOTECH’s FTY-EX Series Explosion Proof Vacuum Turbine Oil Dehydration Purifier takes explosion proof type electrical control system, explosion proof type motors, explosion proof type heater elements which can guarantee the system to work safely in some dangerous (inflammable or explosive) places. The explosion proof classes are Exd BT4 and ExdCT4 respectively.
This explosion-proof turbine oil purification plant is widely used for online filtering turbine lubricating oil from steam turbine, water turbine, gas turbine and steam turbine generator set, etc. in fields of electric power, metallurgical, chemical engineering industries.
It is good at quickly and completely emulsion breaking, dehydration and removing soap, gelatin, acid, pigment and metal particulates in emulsified turbine oil and low-viscosity lubricating oils so as to make the emulsified oil clear and transparent, improve the quality of the oil, restore the performance of the oil, ensure the normal operation of the generator set adjustment and lubrication system, and extend the maintenance cycle of the generator set.
2. Factors Affecting the Deterioration of Turbine Oil
1). Water vapor or water entering the oil system.
2). The oil temperature is locally too high.
3). Metal particles or dust are mixed into the oil.
4). Mixed with other chemical components.
5). Contact with harmful gases (corrosive gases such as chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, etc.)
During the use of turbine oil, water vapor and water will inevitably leak into the turbine oil from the shaft seal or other parts, emulsify the oil to form an emulsion, oil and water are not easy to separate resulted in decreasing the oil’s lubricant capability. And the generated acidic substances, salts, and oxides greatly affect the performance characteristics of the turbine oil.
The service life of normal turbine oil is about 1 year, but after processed by our turbine oil dehydration plant, it can be extended to 5 ~ 15 years.
