1.Introduction & Application

Dissipation factor tester is a new generation of automated instruments for measuring dielectric loss tangent (tgδ) and capacitance (Cx). It can measure the dielectric loss tangent (tgδ) and capacitance value (Cx) of various insulating materials, insulating bushings, power cables, capacitors, transformers, transformers and other high-voltage equipment under power frequency and high voltage. The transformer oil dielectric loss tester is also suitable for measuring the tgδ and capacitance of high-voltage electrical equipment in workshops, laboratories and scientific research units; it can be used with insulating oil cups to test the dielectric loss of insulating oil.

With our dissipation factor tester, you can even determine the capacitance and dissipation/power factor at variable frequency. Therefore, aging phenomena can then be detected earlier, and corresponding action such as repair, oil treatment or drying can be initiated.
