1. Introduction & Application
Series DAG Dry Air Generator, Dry Air Compressor for Transformer is widely used for various electrical equipments such as transformers and reactor to supply high purity dry air during installation and maintenance. The dry air it provided can keep good insulation of the electrical equipments against wet and protect the maintainer working inside the equipment against oxygen-lack.
Series DAG Transformer Dry Air Generator Machine Supply Dry Air For Transformer Maintenance is much safer, more reliable, more economic and more convenient than using Nitrogen. Its working condition is not affected by climate. And it is very good especially for overnight works, just seal all flanges and fill dry air upto 0.02 ~ 0.03 Mpa. By this way, no need spend more time on oil filling and oil drainage, maintenance period is shortened and efficiency is improved. The lower the dew point in air is, the less the moisture content in the air is, and the much drier the dry air generator works.
During filtering oil, people can also supply dry air to dry the oil tanks and oil, especially this operation can ensure oil’s insulation quality and reduce water content during filtering oil in rainy days and humid area.
When Hot Dry Air Supply System is connected to oil depot (or big oil tank), it can keep the stored oil in qualified condition for long time so that can be suitable for using these oils urgently at any time. This machine can also be used for other storeroom such as library reference room and production area which need to be dried.
2. Functions
● Reduce and remove the moisture content in the air, the dew point can be decreased downto -75℃ after treatment.
● Reduce and remove the particles in the air
● Take the place of drying through Nitrogen and hot oil-circulation while transformers work overnight, more reliable enconomical convenient and safer than Nitrogen.
● Supply dry air to keep transformer dry when it’s in installation or repair
● Ensure that the maintenance staff will not be short of oxygen when working inside of the equipments.
● Shorten the maintenance period and improve the efficiency of the maintenance quality.
