The LD Self-Cleaning filter system is a new type of fully automatic water filter specifically developed for different working conditions both domestically and internationally. It is widely applicable to cooling water, circulating water, and fire-fighting water supply environments in industries such as steel, metallurgy, chemical, thermal power, hydropower, and light industry, and is especially suitable for unmanned operation. The LD series water filter is suitable for filtering water containing a large amount of silt and some floating matter such as domestic waste, with a relatively low filtration accuracy of 1-6mm.
Features of the Self-Cleaning Filter System:
1. The high-strength stainless steel filter element facilitates backwashing of contaminants trapped on the filter screen surface, preventing contaminant buildup and clogging of the pores. During backwashing, the water jet quickly removes contaminants.
2. The rotating main shaft uses a double-stage wear-resistant O-ring seal and is equipped with a drain sleeve to prevent external leakage during filter operation. The rotating guide shaft of the drain pipe uses high-wear-resistant F4-9# fluorinated fluoride bushings, exhibiting extremely low frictional resistance in water, ensuring both wear resistance and a tight seal. This also ensures that unfiltered water must pass through the filtration chamber before entering the clean chamber, guaranteeing the required filtered water quality.
The automatic water filter's flushing motor is equipped with an overheat protection mechanism, and the filter element has a differential pressure monitoring system. In case of malfunction or abnormality, the system automatically stops operation and issues an alarm. 8. This water filter adopts a PLC-based fully automatic program control, which can facilitate remote monitoring and control. Backwashing can be performed automatically by timed or differential pressure program. The contactors that are frequently operated use electrical components from well-known domestic brands, which are highly reliable.

Working Principle:
When the water filter is working, water enters the turbid water chamber through the inlet pipe under a certain pressure, passes through a specially made stainless steel filter element, and then flows out through the clear water chamber and outlet. When impurities in the water pass through the filter element, because their volume is larger than the filter element mesh, they are trapped on the inner surface of the filter element. When a certain amount accumulates, the filter element continuously clogs, creating a certain pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the set value is reached, the differential pressure transmitter outputs a signal instructing the equipment to discharge wastewater. The electric drain valve and electric drain device start working. When the drain valve opens, the drain pipe connects to the external drainage, allowing impurities on the inner surface of the filter element to be flushed out of the machine by the backwash jet of filtered clean water under water pressure. When the electric drain device is working, the drain mechanism seals against each individual filter element, achieving a complete cleaning of that single filter element while other filter elements continue to operate normally. Therefore, it does not affect the normal water supply of the system. Each rotation of the drain pipe provides a backwash cleaning for each filter element, and this cycle repeats continuously.
