The LD series fully automatic backwash water filter is a new type of fully automatic water filter specifically developed for different working conditions both domestically and internationally. It is widely applicable to cooling water, circulating water, and fire-fighting water supply environments in industries such as steel, metallurgy, chemical, thermal power, hydropower, and light industry, and is especially suitable for unmanned operation. The LD series water filter is suitable for filtering water containing a large amount of silt and some floating matter such as domestic waste, with a relatively low filtration accuracy of 1-6mm.
Features of the Fully Automatic Backwashing Water Filter:
1. This water filter automatically backwashes the filter screen using a portion of the clean water filtered by itself. Manual cleaning of the filter elements is unnecessary, and a separate cleaning system is not required. Wastewater is automatically discharged using the pressure difference between the filtered outlet water pressure and the drain port.
2. The filter elements consist of multiple filter cartridges arranged circumferentially on a filter element plate. Backwashing of each filter element is done individually, while other filter elements continue filtering, ensuring a continuous supply of high-quality water.
3. The filter elements use stainless steel mesh filter cartridges with an open area greater than 20% of the filter element surface, making the effective filtration area several times larger than the inlet area.
4. During backwashing, each filter element is cleaned individually, occupying only one-eighth to one-several-tenth of the entire filter element. Furthermore, because the wastewater suction head is tightly isolated from other filter elements, its wastewater consumption is less than 6% of the design flow rate, resulting in superior performance compared to other water filter structures.
