FUOOTECH has launched its upgraded FTD-6000A Automatic Transformer Dissipation Factor and Capacitance Tester, addressing long-standing interference challenges for substation on-site insulation diagnostics. Breaking from traditional bridge measurement designs, this tester adopts variable-frequency power supply and Fourier digital filtering technology to suppress 50Hz power-frequency noise, delivering stable and accurate readings under heavy electromagnetic interference.
The integrated unit embeds a built-in high-voltage source and standard capacitor, cutting field wiring workload. It supports CVT self-excitation testing, reverse wiring measurement without disconnection, and AC withstand voltage tests for PT, CT and low-voltage systems. Operators control the instrument via a full-touch graphical LCD; no extensive professional training is required.
Test records can be saved, printed through the onboard thermal printer or exported by USB for PC management. Multi-layer safety protections including grounding check, over-current and electric-shock protection safeguard operators and test assets. Widely applied to transformers, bushings, arresters and capacitors, the FTD-6000A helps power crews reliably assess insulation health and reduce grid operational risks.
