Instrument maintenance
1. The instrument should be repaired, maintained and adjusted by trained personnel.
2. The instrument can be used indoors or outdoors, but should be used away from rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, high temperature or direct sunlight.
3. The oil cup should be kept clean and filled with dry and qualified insulating oil during non-use to keep the oil cup free from moisture.
4. After the electrode has been used continuously for one month, it should be inspected to check the gap between the electrodes. Check whether the gap has changed, and use a magnifying glass to observe whether the electrode surface is dark. If so, wipe the electrode surface with silk cloth and readjust the electrode gap to meet the requirements.
Oil cup cleaning method
1. Use clean silk cloth to repeatedly wipe the electrode surface and electrode rod.
2. Use standard gauge to adjust the electrode gap.
3. Use petroleum ether or ethanol to clean 3-4 times, then blow dry with a hair dryer and put in the oil sample to be tested to clean 2-3 times.
Stirring rod cleaning method
1. Use clean silk cloth to repeatedly wipe the stirring rod until there are no fine particles on the surface. Avoid touching the stirring rod surface with your hands.
2. Use tweezers to clamp the stirring rod, immerse it in anhydrous ethanol and wash it repeatedly, then blow dry it with a hair dryer.
3. Use tweezers to clamp the stirring rod, immerse it in the oil sample to be tested and wash it repeatedly.
If the instrument does not work properly, first check whether the fuse is blown and replace it in time. If the instrument does not display, first check whether the power is connected and the switch is turned on. If the instrument displays "running" but does not increase voltage or alarm, replace the fuse on the panel. If the instrument prints with small fonts, does not feed paper, or has unclear handwriting, loosen the printing paper a few times and replace the printer ribbon.
