The functions of turbine oil are mainly lubrication, cooling and speed regulation.
The following are main uses and functions of turbine oil :
1.Lubrication: Turbine oil is used to lubricate the sliding bearings, reduction gears, speed regulators and other components of the turbine to reduce friction and wear and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
2.Heat dissipation and cooling: Turbine oil can take away the heat generated by friction, keep the equipment within a suitable operating temperature range, and prevent overheating.
3.Hydraulic control: In the hydraulic system, turbine oil is used as a transmission medium to control the opening and closing of various hydraulic valves to ensure the normal operation of the system.
4.Sealing: In some applications, turbine oil also plays a sealing role to prevent leakage.
