To account for the additional costs incurred by FedEx shipments that require special handling or processing, we will make the following adjustments to surcharges:
Update: Additional Service Charge (AHS) – Weight
The "Additional Service Charge - Weight" charge level will be adjusted to 25 kg. The existing charge levels for other additional service charges remain unchanged.
New: Unconventional Surcharge
All international shipments that exceed the maximum size or weight limits will be charged the corresponding Unconventional Package Surcharge or Unconventional Heavy Surcharge.
If a FedEx package meets the criteria for the Unconventional Package Surcharge, AHS-Dimensions, AHS-Weight, or Oversized Surcharge at the same time, only the highest of the two charges will be charged.
If a package meets the criteria for both the Unconventional Package Surcharge and AHS-Packaging, both charges will be charged.
If a FedEx Heavy Cargo shipping unit meets the criteria for the Unconventional Heavy Cargo Surcharge, Additional Service Fee - Heavy Cargo or Non-Stackable Surcharge, only the highest fee will be charged.
