Brief Introduction
The FT‑ZL Automatic Interfacial Tension Tester is a fully‑automatic laboratory testing instrument specially designed for measuring the interfacial tension between insulating oil (transformer oil), turbine oil, lubricating oil and distilled water. It is widely used in power systems, oil purification plants, petrochemical laboratories to judge oil aging degree, oxidation status, acid value and sludge risk.
Testing Principle
It uses the standard Du‑Noüy platinum‑iridium ring method:
A high‑precision platinum‑iridium ring is immersed into the oil‑water interface
The instrument automatically pulls the ring upward
Real‑time sensor detects the maximum surface tension force
The system calculates and displays interfacial tension value automatically
